On 7th June 2024 a Special Lecture on New Criminal Laws was conducted at RUSA Hall. The Special Lecture was organised by Legal Cell, Government T. Romana College. H. Zodinsanga Advocate, Advocates Chamber Khatla presented the New Criminal Laws to the students.

Finishing School 2024 was jointly organised by Student Support, Progression & Placement Cell, IQAC & Entrepreneurship Knowledge Cell, GTRC at the College Campus on April 26, 2024. The programme was orgnaised in three parallel sessions with three different themes. The theme of Sesssion I was ‘Self Reliance’ and it was chaired by Mrs. Ramdinliani. The resource person was Dr. Jenifer Lalbiakdiki, Principal, GTRC and she stressed on the importance of ‘self-reliance’ through confidence and hard work. Session II was chaired by Dr. Lalchhuanmawia, Chairman of E.K. Cell. The resource person Mrs. M.S. Dawngliani, State Mission Manager, UD&PA (NLUM) delivered a lecture on the theme ‘Entrepreneurship’.
Session III was chaired by Mr. R. Lalremliana, Vice Principal & Chairman, SSPPC. The resource person was Maj. John VL Khawlhring, District Sainik Welfare & Resettlement Officer (DSW&RO), Aizawl District. The resource person after delivering career campaigned had an interaction with students who want to join the Indian Armed Forces. The programme has been annually organised as part of the college regular activities to motivate and guide the outgoing students for their future career.
Mr. Lalengmawia, IAS, the Commissioner of Higher and Technical Education, paid a visit to Govt. T. Romana College on May 13, 2025. The Commissioner was accompanied by some officials from the Secretariat and the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education. A brief meeting was held in the Meeting Hall to extend a warm welcome to the Commissioner and his team. The meeting was chaired by Mr. R. Lalremliana, Vice-Principal of Government T. Romana College, who welcomed the Commissioner and the other officials and provided a brief overview of the College’s history.
6th semester students of the department of Public Administration, Govt T.Romana College attended training on Suntainable Life Skill: Rural Development Schemes at the SIRD&PR Auditorium on 4th April, 2025.
In the Rope Access Challenge organised by Sports and Youth Services Department on 5th and 6th June,2025, over 10 registered clubs participated and the Kings Youth Adventure Club of Govt T. Romana college won 3rd position.
On May 21, 2025, the department honoured the 6th Semester topper in the 2nd Continuous Test (2nd CAT) and hosted a final meeting for the outgoing students. A total of 24 students attended the programme. The primary goal of felicitation for meritorious students was to recognise and celebrate academic brilliance among students who have done well in the Internal Test.
The college observed Green Day on 10.6.2025 by planting saplings in the college campus.
